Is it privacy or weather control you most want? A custom made long blind might work well for the long window, if you want both privacy and heat/cold control. You might also think of external solutions, including plantings that would manage both sun and privacy for the lower levels. Having something that cuts neighbours views and gives you a nice view is always a good solution, and can be an important part both of privacy and weather management. A front courtyard of any sort (built wall, plant wall) also works well - we had one at an earlier house and it worked well. We had, in our just moved into place, a long window beside the front door, which also gets late afternoon sun (hot at present), and I replace the two panes with a stained glass pair of windows and it cuts the sun and increases the privacy, but it's not a cheap solution when you have such a long window.

I think during the day, you might mostly have blinds raised, allowing sheers to show, which from outside will look fine. In the evening, you will likely have blinds down for privacy so I don't think it matters so much. Function before aesthetic. Having said that, speak to a few blind companies and find out the best way to install (inside window frame or outside) so that the look from outside is seamless when blinds are down. I'm thinking if installed just a bit beyond the frame width, no gaps at sides of blinds will show.

I don't think it will look bad when landscaped, perhaps with a raised bed in front of the window. It would be nice to introduce another hard finish but I think maybe timber....one of the photos has a large timber step/ platform which might work here. Whar sort of fence are you planning?

I must admit I am surprised your build is at this stage , and you are now wondering about finishes and presumably decking and ballustrade materials and the like ? I love the finish of dreamers 2nd picture -- the variety of finishes and tones and how it all works together is great . The first one seems too plain for me , and while I realise Indians traditionally like gold , the first one seems more like mustard to me -- gold good , mustard not so good !
