I am not the best person to comment on lights but would a few downlights be the go or one of those integrated heat/fan/light things be best in centre. Also a lot of people have task lighting......so lights just above the mirror for makeup etc. Personally too bright lighting while doing makeup sends me into a spin as I look like i have about a month to live! I hadn't thought of approvals for my proposed window - so thanks for that. Must keep that in mind. My bathroom is very hidden and looks nowhere in particular. It is all looking good. On another note my friend got a heated towel rail and much as I hate wasting power it is fab. Our towels seems to stay dampish in uninsulated BV '60 box in Melbourne. Also i would have a look in bathroom showrooms for some ideas too if you have any handy. Or buy a bathroom specialty magazine. It is going to be so nice this bathroom. What tiles etc?

the structure of the wall needs to be installed first because the weight of the wall needs to be supported by a solid footing and the floor needs less support but are you able to cut the pavers to suit the curve, do you need a back rest for a simple bench seat and would the pavers be easier to lay in a straight line? have you consider the interlocking blocks that can be used for a low retaining wall without mortar?

Tiles from reputable supplier 10 mm ceramic on walls 600 x 300, there are a lot of cheap thin porcelain tiles available at present ( 10+ porcelain superior colours, abt twice price of ceramic ) Porcelain floor tiles, min 300 x 300,now generally 600 x 300.....smart tile floor waste ( never in shower )

hi Liz, my friend said her builder got it for her from ebay, it was free delivery also, he installed it into a unit that she sold, he waterproofed everything and then used black perspex floor to ceiling in the small bathroom and it looked fabulous, the people who bought the unit were thrilled with the look and even let her know how cleaning was a breeze.so happiness all around.
