Hi Megan - what about some shelving and overheads with matching colors? It would look beautiful - and it is quite useful in a living room.

I think the main thing to think about would be traffic flow. You need to make sure you have adequate space between the chairs and the kitchen bench to allow passage through to the meals area, and between the two-seater and the sliding doors to access the deck. You might want to use masking tape to mark all the placements out to see how they fit and how the traffic flow is. You might also want to think about whether you want to be in the al fresco area looking in at the back of a couch. Personally, I'd probably go for chairs there, but that's just me. I like some of the pieces you've chosen, especially the larger sofa and the chairs. And it looks like a very nice space to play around with.

really quite struggling with layout in my living room. having two double door entrances opposite each other is a big pain. please help in any way you guys can. and can you guys also give me some feedback on the whole living room design. some tips and tricks and also point out some mistakes? thanks

You have a huge room, with lots of options and opportunity. So much will depend on the size of your furniture. Some furniture is made for apartments, like a lot of the stuff from Ikea, and has compact dimensions. Other furniture is made for McMansions so is generously proportioned, and sometimes oversized. Find what you like and are comfortable in before seeing how to work it in the room. If the room is only going to be for TV then make it the focus, but if you have views, and you will use the room for other things then the position of the TV is secondary.
