Help: 1. Wooden floors-to sand&polyurethane OR to sand&paint white
Comments (15)Polyurethane timber floor finishes are the most durable and economical floor coating available for floor sanding and polishing projects. Especially if you are considering the resale of your home in the future. Liming or white washing your floor certainly is in fashion at the moment but is far more expensive to do. If you are still interested in liming your timber floors take a look our blog for some more info . http://budgetfloorsanding.com.au/?s=liming+timber+floors http://budgetfloorsanding.com.au/timber-floor-finishes/timber-floor-staining/...See MoreWhite paint help!!
Comments (18)Hi Lisa, after years of searching for a white colour that is not too blue, not too pink, not too yellow and not too green, I found one!! It's Dulux Snowy Mountains. Two years ago we have recently painted two units we built and recently our son's room got painted with that colour and I still love it! It's of course personal choice, but I'm so happy with that particular white....See MoreWhich white? What to paint trims/celings/doors. PLS HELP!
Comments (1)I’d suggest using pieces of plaster, painted in your chosen colours, to see what the colours look like in different rooms and at different times of the day. We were always going for Natural White which ended up having a pink tinge in certain light in our home. Our large back area is east facing (8m of glass stacking doors) with two south facing windows and two large skylights for northern light. Our colour consultant suggested Dulux Snowy Mountains Qtr strength and it is great for our home. Not stark (no blue/grey tinge) but definitely not too warm. We went all the same colour - walls, trims, ceilings - just in different finishes. Modern home with squareset ceilings. White is so hard. Good luck with your choice!...See MoreNeed help with choosing white wall paint!
Comments (8)Judging colours from photos is fraught with danger as they appear different on different devices. And choosing whites is not easy. However I’ve just gone through white selections in my renovation and have warm greys in the house. I narrowed down to Casper White Quarter or Lexicon Quarter. Both will work with warm grey. Sounds like Casper for you as you already like it!...See Moredreamer
