We are currently renovating. The kitchen is matte white cabinetry (shaker profile) and we are planning for black handles and knobs.
I have just bought black door levers for the white bedroom and bathroom doors, but I don't like the look of black hinges...and now I'm having second thoughts.
All of the tap ware throughout the house is polished chrome.
Questions:
1. Can I keep black hardware just in the kitchen, or am I doing the right thing by carrying this on to the bedrooms and bathroom doors? The alternative is to stick to satin chrome for all of the other door hardware (and maybe even the kitchen cabinetry too). (POLL BELOW)
2. What colour hinges for the doors if the handles are black?
Would love some help with making these decisions! I'm not sure what mixing of colours and finishes is possible. Please post photos too! Thanks :)
